Strategies To Stay In Profit

I have been involved with a large number of internet based programs for a number of years and have gradually evolved a set of strategies that work successfully for myself.

These are listed below, but should not be considered as recommendations or advice, but merely strategies that have worked well for myself and a number of colleagues.

It should be noted that most programs that offer very high yields, above 2% or 3% a day are probably
Ponzi set-ups, in other words the money being paid out is almost entirely dependent on new money coming in from other members. These programs will ultimately fail, sometimes in days, but they can last many months if they become popular. Significant gains can be made from such programs in their early days, but it is vital that you get into a profit situation quickly and then take say 50% of subsequent profits out of the program at every opportunity - it could be your last! Iron will-power is needed as it is tempting to keep adding funds - that's exactly what the program admins want you to do! Don't be tempted.

1.   I concentrate on passive income programs that are generally under-pinned with REAL investments, products or trading, as far as I can ascertain.

2.   I diversify into a number of different programs to spread the risk, tending to run with a portfolio of 10 to 20 different programs at any one time. Hence if one or two fall by the wayside, it is not too great a loss.

For example $100 invested in 10 programs yields $300 a month, assuming an average yield of 30%. On average 10% of programs fail each month, i.e. 1 out of the 10, hence $100 lost. Net gain: $200 per month. Following this strategy, it is difficult to lose, provided the programs have been chosen carefully.

3.   I also diversify in the type of program. A good portfolio has a mix of high, medium and low yield programs to again spread the risk. Remember that generally,
the higher the yield, the higher the risk!

4.   I use 'seed' capital when joining a program, which is set at a moderate amount, sometimes the minimum allowed, but never more than 10% of my total portfolio worth.

5.   I attempt to recover 'seed' capital as quickly as possible, getting into a profit situation quickly and then staying in profit.

6.   Depending on program confidence, I re-invest part of the profits from a program back into that same program. Typically 50% of the profit is re-invested. I tend to take profit at every opportunity.

7.   Once a program is established in my portfolio, I advertise it to my 'contact list' and receive referral bonuses from those that fund the program. 50% of these bonuses are usually fed back into the program, increasing my overall profits.

8.   There is always room for flexibility within the strategy adopted and one must react quickly if there are any signs of a program faultering, when it is usually best to withdraw one's funds as quickly as posible. A good strategy is a happy compromise between minimising risk and maximising profit. Remember that funds you have within a program are not yours until you have successfully withdrawn it - do this regularly!
